Tech, Does the klv-550 base amp work on 11 meter when u get it or does it have to be modified?

I am not sure, as I have never used one. If it doesn't work when you get it, the mod is most likely as simple as moving a jumper from one plug to another. Some of their products that require conversion use this simple method.

The mod I have says to push the short out plug down on pins 1 and 2 on the 4 pin connector. If you open it up and the jumper is already there it's good to go.
