I just got a DX 33 HML. Pluged up and all worked for 30 seconds. Then dead. Only light on was S-Meter. Turned off and then back on and worked for another 20 seconds. Had 15 Watts on high before going out again. Only light on was S-Meter. Thought it might be a voltage regulator???? No number on board. Maybe as 3600-14B???? How do I identify board, AND get part and repair info??? Can you guys tell me where to start?? Thanks |

If it is the main regulator (likely) it's the obviuos large regulator sinked to the right wall near the rear (2sb754). |

He is right , common problem..The center leg of the regulator breaks free from the main board...Center left side on solder side of board. It is attached to the chassis. 307 |
