Ok, I know everyone has said 1000 times, drive you amp with 1/2 to 2 watts... well, what kind of negative impact am I looked it if I drive my boomer 250 with my KL40?

Anyone ever try this? No, I havent hooked it up like this, just curious!

BAM! ...and not in a good way.
It would likely be impossible to set your radio carrier low enough to get the KL40 down to 4w, and if you did it would likely sound terrible doing so.
A custom amp with (2) 2879 transistors would be more suitable to be driven that way.

yeah, even with a 3/4 watt dead key, the KL40 generates 5 watts... hmmmm..any way to convert that Boomer Deluxe 250 into a high drive?
