Any info on frequency alignment?
Radio is off on usb&lsb.Can not find any info without a service manual.Thanks |

Have you got a way to read internal radio frequencies on a counter with a probe? I can find you the test points and trimmers, but if you can't hook to them and get internal readings, there's no way to set them. Also, is the clarifier modified to work on both transmit and receive? If it is (and was done correctly) it can simplify the steps. And they're a little weird. One of the three crystal trimcaps on the crystals next to the PLL chip is for AM receive only. I'll check back, and see about digging out the Sams CB book.
Oh, and Howard Sams will sell you a reprint of their version, but it's pretty pricey.

2600,I do have access to a counter with probe.The radio itself is not modified in any way.I believe the sams manual is #207 if I get ahold of someone that has one on hand.If not I will go ahead and order one.Thank you for the info.73 |
