I have a uniden grant XL. I does just fine on side band. Talks perfect. But it will not key up on am. Whats up? How can it work fine on one and not the other. |

The problem is the AM Power Regulation Transitor is blown , common problem... |

Hey 307 thanks for the info about the blow AM power regulation transitor in my Uniden Grant XL. Now where is this part located, and if you know, what is the part number and I will go pick it up and put it in my self. Then I will be a happy camper. A diagram sent to my email would be a big help. By the way what do you think of the Grant XL? I run it and some help on a 3 element beam and have a blast on side band. Is there any thing you can tell me that might help me do a better job with this radio. Thanks again! |
