if anyone has any experience with this dynamic magnetic mike and what the functions or the wires are. i believe it has a white, ground red and another dark wireperhaps a black or green. i would like to wire it up to a 4 pin cobra radio.on the front of the mike it says INTERNATIONAL,but it was made by shure brothers. can anyopne help? thanks ahead of time. |

With a ohm meter, Touch 1 lead to the shield and check the other wires for a "short".The wire that shows a short will be the RX. Now,still touching 1 lead to the shield,key mic and check the other 2 wires for a short. The wire that shorts will be TX. The other (usually the white) will be Audio. |

Hey wing... The controlled magnetics need power to work. I picked up a bunch of old Sures, had to gut the elements and replace them with CB type, rewire them. After this is done, they will not work with radios that need the mike plugged in to receive. |

hi guys! the wiring code for it is : white -audio, shield -ground,red-tx, black -(possibly,rx)i have all the wires except the black one connected on my ranger ar-3300.i found out by looking for the wire the shields wrapped around which is the audio,etc...funny thing however its works on my radio just fine ,like a stock mike. |
