could a person use 2 mrf-477 finals in a galaxy or vr-9000?i know a person who did it to a 2950.do you think it would work alright?40 watts output each total of 80 watts output after the mod is done.

It does not quite work like that..A power divider circuit is needed to mate the two outputs together and then match them to 50 Ohms after the tank. It is a royal job to do it right... A guestimate is about 50 watts output. (peak)
