this roadtalker ssb shows a dead on both lsb and usb when i key up without modulating and when i talk it swings backwards on my pdc600lp meter.need help with this problem.also my cobra 135xlr ssb does the same thing.thanks

Ssb is not supposed to show wattage until you speak into the mike.I had the same problem with a meter,I had it hooked up backwards.Change your connections regardless what they say,unless it is one of those remote digital devices,other than that I have no idea.
