ok i want to run a second wilson trucker antenna on my truck but i want to put it off of my roof on a 3 magnet base but at a 90 degree angle. aka horizontal polarization. i have a few people around who run their beams strictly horizontally and wondered if it wouls shoot skip alright to the same polorization? just and idea im playing with. any one else try this. ps im keeping the other wilson trucker on the vertical side but want to use a switch box to flip from vertical to horizontal stages. |

Many times in a mobile your verticle antenna changes polarity when it hits the different layers of atmosphere and is indeed horizontal. It can even do that line of sight once you get 50+ mis away from the receiving station. |
