FWIW, a tuner keeps you from hurting your transmitter and allows wide use of narrow banded antennas.....a compromise. We all know what it means to compromise. There's no substitute for an antenna designed for a specific freq range and tuned to it thereafter for optimum performance.....or it's a "compromise". |
