President Lincoln. High quality, beautiful audio, high power. The Magnum 257 and its clones are great for the money, but my Lincoln's receiver is more selective than my Titan II RPSY 485. But at more than double the price better? Subjective. |

DELTA FORCE or a Titan II RPSY 485 are good radios for the money. If you want echo go with the Delta Force, if not the Titan II 485 is a nice radio and worth the money! I own both of these and both do well, if you go with the Titan you will have money left over for some more goodies! |

I am running a Titan II RPSY-485(~100 bucks) on a Samlex SEC-1223 switching mode power supply (~100 bucks), a KLV-350 base amp(New for 160 bucks), and an Astatic 1104c desk mic. Imax-2000 at 36 feet feedpoint for an aerial. Awesome Combination! This setup rivals the other base station in the house that consists of Galaxy DX2517(~450 bucks), Galaxy 250 base amp (~300 bucks), Astatic TUP910DA desk mic(~100 bucks) TitanII platform = 360 bucks Galaxy platform = 850 bucks That Galaxy sure looks PRETTY, though! lol |
