Hello, I have a BC145xl scanner with a bad audio output. I have replaced this output several times and it does not seem to give me back the audio. I have traced the input and have an input signal on the input pin of the IC but I have no output on the output pin. The schematic calls for up to 12 volts on the vcc, however I am showing 14.3 volts. If you could help me with this I would be deeply grateful. Thanks: D Wright |

Hi , if the audio amp is blowing alot , it is most likely a shorted coupling capacitor from the output of the audio IC to the speaker. My neighbor had one and it was shorted and did the same thing yours is. |

Hello. I bought a new Washington base, and right out of the box it would trasmit a churp.I sent it back to Uniden three times ,and each time they sent it right back saying it met mfg. spec's. On the third time they supposedly sent me a new radio , but if they did this new one does the same thing. I took it to a friend's house, it did the same over there I've also used the best mic, power and standard. but it makes no difference. Have you seen this before? If so, How do I fix it, if there is a fix. Thank's |
