I would like some hands on experience with Amplifier Watt output verses power supply AMP Draw, In other words I just purchased a Prymid 52KX power supply and want to get the max watts out of an amplifier while just maxing out the power supply. Can I expect to get 600w at 35 amp draw out of a boomer 600 with 1446 pills or 700w at 40A with 5 2879 pills Can some one HEPL Whats the best Combo to get my radio puts out 1W swings to 20W thanks Jake. |

Different amps have different draw characteristics. If you check your other subject you posted, I recommended two amps that would but you in the 40-50amp draw range. There is no 4 transistor amp with larger than 2290/1446/454 transistors that can run on that supply, definately no 5 transistor amp. |
