I have a 2970 that was somehow knocked off freq. It's been awhile but if i remember it was something like 30 Khz low. It no longer seemed to have enough adjustment to tune back up using L27 and vr21 but would tune down enough to be a full ch. off. Example- freq counter on radio is at 269650 while transmit/receive is actually 269550.
The radio now go's from 259900-319900. So i tuned it that way and been using it for a long time like that. It works fine this way but just bugs me to have to remember i'm a ch. off and when using the cb mode you cant reach ch. 40. Going thru alignment didnt help, voltages and freq reading were correct. Some parts value must be off i suppose. Any ideas ? |
