I just wired a D104 for a 4 pin Cobra 29LTD and everytime I key up, I get a squeal. I wired it like this: Blue & Shield to 1 White to 2 Red to 3 Black to 4 I didn't do anything with the yellow. Is this right? Thank you for your help. |

look and make sure you do not have any wires touching in the mic plug. |

Thanks JYD I double checked my wiring and the solders look good and clean, but it still sqeals. The radio had some mods done on it, but it also squeals on another Cobra I have. I must be missing something here. But thanks for taking the time. |

Good idea Sonoma! I was wondering what my next step should be. I'll try that. Thanks |

make sure the mike gain on the mike isn't wide open just open it up a little. |

if you have talk back it will squeel, remove the talk back.if you dont have talk back turn your d-104 less than half way,it will still sound good also a weak 9volt battery will cause it to squeel. |
