How old is the Wilson 5000? Is the SWR lower on Channel 40 or channel 1? Phil |

With my Wilson 5000 mag mount the SWR is lower than 1.5 to 1 regardless of where I have the stinger set. Something is broken I bet. |

If the SWR is higher on channel (1) than it is on channel (40) you need to lenghten the whip. If channel (1) is lower than (40) you need to shorten the whip. Sometimes it is necessary to actually cut the whip if need be. |
