Hi. I have a President P400 that has no audio coming from the speaker. After I turn it on, everything lights up like it should, I connect it to a frequency counter and a watt meter, and it transmits properly, i.e. correct power output and on frequency. Even the S meter moves like it should (on both xmit and xcv). I am not well versed at all in repairing radios, so I have no idea what the prob. is. Is this a common problem in the P400s or radios in general? What is your opinion on this problem? I have not hooked up an external speaker to my radio to see if audio will come through, either. Thanks for your help. |

Oops! Duh! I posted this question in the "Radios Mobile" section, when it should have been (obviously) put in the "Radios Base" category. Sorry, guys. I think someone else answered my question that is extremely similar, anyway, regarding no audio in a President Madison, or something like that. |

Bad speaker or disconnected speaker wire, try this also you might have your audio wire loose on your mic or inside the radio at the mic plug good luck,, 73's |
