I just purchased a set of cobra microtalk frs 110 radios and was curious if there are any mods for it.

Nope. The only mod I can see that's even remotely possible with that particular radio would be an external antenna jack mod. And even that would be more of a pain in the arse than it's worth.

Get yourself a GMRS license.

I own the exact radio (among others) and it's all surface mount devices in them. You even have to unsolder the existing antenna to take the radio fully apart.
