I will be buying a palomar 250 moible amplifier but before I do I have a few questions to ask? I am using a 29 NW WX ST which I had peaked to 12 watts I am using two wilsons silver load FGT 4,Can i use a palomar 250 with it pushing 12 watts without damaging the amplifier or do I have to get the radio tuned down to 4 watts? Now for my next question....Will it effect my electronics on my 99 freightliner? and how will the SWR be to adjust when using the amplifier? As for my SWR now it is at 1:1. thank you Blackdog |

You should have your radios CARRIER turned down to 2w for that amp. Everything else should be ok as long as you supply the amp with sufficient current and ground. |

Well thank you for the information..I can see that I have to get my radio down to 1.5 watts. Now what about the SWR problems I am hearing about with the palomar 250? THANKS FROM BLACKDOG |
