Hey 307,
Is it possible to cut the wires off the RF gain control and wire it to the vr that does ssb to turn it up and down?

Yes you can BUT remember to solder the two wires near the right side of the pot together so you are at max RF gain , If you just cut them , you loose RX...

Ok I think I see but which wires are they? Are they on the gain pot. When i cut the wires off the gain pot I solder the two wires near the right side togeather? What color are they/
