what would i have to change to beef up a palomar 250. change combiners to high output and high input,and change sd1446 to 2879s. do i need to change the ferit chokes.do i need to change wired transformer?let me know what i have to change please. thanks jyd

Jyd,
Please don't waste your time and money changing that Palomar. Even if you totally redid the I/) transformers and tuning, the heat sink (if it's the flanged case) is insufficient.
Take the advice from a guy that has attempted reinventing the wheel many times (I now have more grey, less hair, and less money), sell it and buy something of the power you want.
