I am looking at the Ranger 6300Fhp and would like to know if after the 11 meter mod and tune-up if this can be set up with a variable power pot. or not and if not can I run a Texas Star mod V plus and a 667 on this radio with the tune-up. In case you are wondering I want the mod V to cut through skip noise to talk local and the 667 for when I really want to get out. No I'm not going to drive the 667 with the mod V. |

Yes it can. All you need to do is remove the "Power Pot" on the main board and install a 10K pot on the rear of the radio. Feed the three wires from the installed pot to the 3 holes on the main board where you removed it. 307 |
