What is the max.voltage I can run into it and still have max. reliability(13.8 right now),have a homemade supply with adjustable voltage,35 amps cont. 70 amps inter.Have a 100,000mfd cap.on output should I switch it to input.Using 10 ga. wire and having 2 volt drop, should I go to 6 or 8 ga.Even with this much drop on ssb modulation is crisp and clean. One more thing is 32 watts ssb a bit much for this unit(4-sd1446 pills)?would appreciate all info you have on this. I know you are extremely busy working and moderating,so I'll be patient.Thank you so very much,Big Bob. |

The Bommer 400 can safley take 15v. 8ga wire would handle the current draw without any loss. Any stiffening cap should be placed right at the amp. |
