Help. My amp starting blowing fuses. The screw in the var. Cap. fell out and shorted. Replace screw. BUT What is the adj. for and how do I adjust. The AMP is black and only has the marking of "600" on the front. Looks like a Palomar. The plates and separation material is still in place and adjustment does affect output. Help please.. |

That variable capacitor is to "balance" the power output from both transistors so one does not work harder than the other and short. You need a scope to do it.. 307 |

Look at the output of one transistor and match the other one with the cap. You have to go back and forth until they are the exact same. Look right at the treansistor with the scope and a 10X probe. 307 |
