I have a President Madison that has no speaker audio, it receives because the s/rf meter shows deflection. It also transmits fine just no speaker audio. Tried another speaker, that was not the problem. Any suggestions?

Shorted capacitor that couples the audio to the speaker OR RX line in microphone cable open..
