Well,I've never tried a Wilson,but I want to try one.I'm currently talkin on a K40 "K30" antenna. It works great,but looking at the design of the Wilson I think the Wilson would probally work better.Again,I never tried the Wilson,but it looks better than a K40 on paper. |

I think both perform nearly equal, the Wilson is much more durable. |

NCrebel, I personally recommend the Wilson, however the coax and PL-259 assembly is prone to problems. The coax loosens up. If you are going to install one radio and not have to disconnect the coax much you'll be fine. Steve Tech181 Tech181@copperelectronics.com |

I installed a new K40 yesterday seems to work fine I have run a wilson 1000 for years and the K40 seems to have less static I am using a lincoln, also have a HR2510 & Hr2600 great radios |
