Any tech or any person that can help. I have a dual band 2 meter 70cm beam antenna and a 11 meter beam. What I want to do is use these 2 beam's on the same mast same rotor on the tower. HERE IS MY QUESTION. When I stack the ham beam over the 11 meter beam how far should I space the 2 beam's apart for the best performance??? |

Personally I would leave a space of a quarter wave of the 11mtr antenna between them , more if possible. Bear in mind you will have to adjust BOTH antennas for optimum SWR after you have them stacked and not before. Tech858/Jim MM0TXO Wavin' a hand from Scotland

The fact is, the 2m beam is so small, it won't affect the 11m beam much at all. Be thinking of the 2m beam spacing from other stuff. A half wave on 2m is just over 3 feet. A full wave is just over 6 feet. So, go with 6 or more if you have space. Minimum spacing would be just over 3 feet. Your radio 'Mythbuster' with Copper Electronics since 1998
