Hey there copper, hope you guys are doing ok. I picked up a S9 and it has the 2030's in it. I would like to set the bias, it has 2 small black jumpers that do not match the CB tricks instructions. There is no shorting bar, just the 2 "hard drive" jumpers. Also the carrier offset test points are not found either, IC3 is not located near R151 and the carrier balance is positioned clockwise from the layout provided. Lastly the display has a digit partially out on the 2x.xxxx and the channel number is partial. Is it the led driver or the leds themselves? they seen to flicker a bit but wont light up. thanks. https://i.imgur.com/4bu1LAs.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Jc089MJ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/0qlQLvu.jpg |

LED's are very sensitive to current, and over current (from over voltage) conditions. The older LED segment units are much more sensitive than their drivers in most cases. Check the voltage regulators and electrolytic capacitors before proceeding. Your radio 'Mythbuster' since 1998
