The only area i have for an antenna roughly 20'x27', two story building on 20' side, chain link fence (neighbors) across from it, one story building (landlord lives there) on 27' side, alley across from it. Various overhead wires. As per landlord not allowed to mount anything on buildings in any way. No restrictions on yard. Any thoughts for antenna? |

Are you needing omni-directional coverage or could you utilize a small beam? |

Based on what you describe, Id look at some form of vertical such as an Imax or A-99. Getting it up as high as possible. Tech237 N7AUS God made me an athiest, who are you to question his wisdom?

from what you described ..id reccommend the maco BA-1 balony antenna.. you can mount it on a pole and very light weight ..can be mounted verticle or horizonal..that could be interesting. dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64 454 [dx numbers] 38lsb

You might check into a non-penetrating roof mount and put a vertical (like A99) on it. You would not be attaching anything to a structure, and your antenna would be up high and out of everyone's way. Non penetrating mounts look like a big square made of angle iron with a pole sticking up in the middle. The base is designed to have cinder blocks put upon it to keep it from blowing over.
