Are the Texas Star amp ready to go out of the box, or is there any type of mod before use?

If you buy them here at Copper you will have them ready to run out of the box. Very good amp's. Just keep you SWR low and the box cool. A fan on the box is a good thing. No matter how small or how large the amp. I run fan's. It will give them a longer life. This is just my personal choice.

Texas Star amps do a good job. Copper set mine up and I've never had a problem. Just be aware that all of there new manufacture amps have the new DEI transistors. They work good just don't overvolt them.Keep the voltage around 12 to 14 volts or you run the risk of letting out the magic 50 ohm smoke.

Looking for a nice 10 meter amp. Where do I find the amplifiers on the Copper site. I have searched the site to no avail, help!

Customer Service Note : They are under the category "CW Units".

Gonna order the Texas Star 350, what would be a recommended dead key from a galaxy 949 that has been peaked tuned.
