local here has this amp. it blew the inline fuse on the power cord . it was a 35 amp . i was wondering if it should have been a 45 amp fuse as this is the amp draw will the fuse size be the same. dont wanna go too big. dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64 454 [dx numbers] 38lsb

The info I found from a vendor of these amps says the DX300 comes with a 30 amp, 500 comes with a 45, 667 is a 60 amp. |

I haven't ran many Texas Stars but I believe a few of their models came with the round glass fuse holders built into the back of the box. I'd personally just bypass them and install the proper size fuse at the power source. The power source should be fused anyway so the ones in the amp aren't doing anything but causing a bit more voltage drop. |
