Hello, I'm away to put up a 5 element Yagi, made by Tet Emtron. I would like to put my vertical antenna above the yagi using the top section of the mast. How far away does the vertical need to be away from the yagi to prevent any issues? The antenna group is for 10 through to 12 meters.
Cheers
Dale

As much as possible is the best answer.

In theory, it should be at least 1/4 wave above to reduce interaction, but this is not always possible. Get as much spacing between them as SAFELY possible.

If switching them between one radio, make sure the antenna switch Grounds the unused antenna. An antenna that is not connected to a matched load (and even some that are) CAN cause RFI issues. Shorting the coax to ground reduces the risk of this.
