I have a cobra 2000gtl and when cold is fine. but after a couple of minutes I start getting a carrier signal on meter..3-s units on a.m. and 5 on ssb..the rf gain works but does not have any affect on this carrier signal..i did change a few of the normal usual caps that are noted for this radio but did not help,could I get be getting this signal from audio chip??I get this signal with no ant. and rf gain down all the way??any help would be appreciated !!! |
