pres washington only has about 1 watt when you key down what could be wrong & what to test |

it is a stock radio pres washington ether on 12v or 110 when you key up on antenna or dummy load about 1 watt or less i had this problem once before on a rci but cant remember what fixed it thanks |

need more info.. is this into a dummyload what type of meter is thre any swing foreward or reverse does it work on ssb at all dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64 454 [dx numbers] 38lsb

u could try tuneing it. might have had the dead key turned down for use with amp. just a thought |

antenna and dummy load tried to tune it thanks an older palomar meter and a pdc 700 and no swing goes about a 1/2 watt |

check the final or just swap it out with a replacement. if that don't work check the driver or get a replacement. it's probably not a out right simple open or short but a leaky device. just be carefull if you decide to replace the transistors. |
