I have a failed component in my 300a. The component is circular in shape, red in color. It connects from the bridge between the tune and band control and goes over to the 4 6lf6 tubes. I always use my amp on the low setting to bypass the driver tubes. This happened when I accidentally keyed the amp on the low power setting with a 100 watt dead carrier. The component burned as you can see in the pictures. From what I can still see the component reads erie 402z 3kv. My 300a will still turn on and everything is working except it has no power out with the amp on operate. The keying relays still function. On stand by power still passes through the amp as it should. On inspection of the bottom side I see no faulty components. I also checked my tubes and they were not damaged. If I can find a replacement component it looks like it is an easy fix.

Fixed it. Had to put in a new capacitor. Cef#1011 Ham#294
