Creating a strange indoor antenna over the last few days. Now I'll admit up front I have no idea how long this monster is - I just kept adding more wire intil it came back into the office. It runs along the top of the wall around 3 walls of the office, out into the hal, the lounge room, kitchen and back into teh office. Ok, so far sounds like a l;arge indoor loop, but once back in the office it then runs down the wall to floor level and yep, runs the same path again, finally connecting back to the radio. Receive-wise it seems OK, having ehard manay local and DX stations on 80 up, but havent tried it on transmit yet - need to run a counterpoise (2nd floor apartment), Lowpass filter and then connect the grounds on the filter, tuner and radio to the copper strip along the rear of the desk. Hopefully this week will give me chance to run around 20-25W into it. Tech237 N7AUS God made me an athiest, who are you to question his wisdom?
