Got the above radio and works great but need to hook up to a ken tron interceptor power plus RX amplifier but need to be able to lower the deadkey prior to tuneing the amp? Please provide the pots to adjust for me decrease and increase deadkey .2nd question ? should i trust the meter on amp(Ken-Tron rf meter) or my regular watt
meter(3 meter micronta)? should they be the same thru out this tuneing procedure ? I notice that the amp reads deadkey 150 watts but will swing up to 400 but my watt meter will only deadkey 40 watts and swing to 50watts . My amp knobs say antenna and plate? Is this the same as Plate is tune and antenna is load adjustment for tuning procedures? God Bless you guys for putting up with newbie questions and keeping us in the right direction............and hope my questions are in the correct forum..........
