Maybe someone can help. I have an older President washington, 4 pin mic connection which came with a Turner plus 3. I have now aquired a President hand stock mic. I think it may have been from a newer Uniden President but not sure. the mic has 4 wires. Shield, red, black and white. Ive tried so many different variations switching around the Audio/white, Transmit/red, and the receive/black with no luck. I get it to key the transceiever, but no matter how I change things around, I get no audio..just a hum when keyed up. I have given up, and this is my last resort. Anyone have some suggestions on what I may be doing wrong here? Thanks |

Maybe the element in the mic itself is bad. I have two bad mics on my bench now, they both key the radio fine but no audio. I put another element in one and it works fine. |
