I have a Magnum S-680 with a 102" steel whip and i want to buy an 4 or 5 pill xforce amp but i have the stock charging system in an 89 toyota 4wd, is it possible to run this amp. i know i have a dual final radio so i dont know if i should get the 400 high drive, the 2290 driving 4 2879 or the medium drive 2879 driving 4 2879. Thanks in advance. |

for your radio all you want is a 4x 2879 amp NO DRIVER that radio will blow out your driver in those amps.and this would be the most id use in a stock charging setup dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64

Thanks, there were just several to choose from and the 400 being a high drive i didnt know if my radio would drive it properly, but i did think it would overdrive a 1x4 . can you sugest a good dead key for the 400hd? my Magnum has a variable that will go up to a12 watt carrier but thats just the meter on the radio.and do you know an estimate of what kind of power ill see? the 400hd claims like a 450 swinging 650 or a driven power of 600 swinging1000. somethig like that anyway,i was just wandering about what i could expect. |
