well i hooked it up andi thoudht it was doing good and i put a meter on it and it shows around 300 watts,on hi and on dile a watt its all hooked up rite and sometimes they tell me i have a little hum in it i have my mike turned down almost off and when i tryed to talk ssb they tell me it sounds like its starving for power,also the other day it rained and it went up to 425 watts and i talked to northern canada and he said it sounded good and lean and talked to waraz mexico and they said it sounded good no num,now it was raining when i talked good skip and when it was dryas they told me it sounded like it was starving for power.am i missing something,i have a voyage 9000 running a texas star667 now the radio is grounded to the batterie and i have a ground wire to the radio case the 667 is grounded to the batterie running a still whip{the only ant.i can run on my 92 jeep wrangler}whip is also grounded 2 times once to the bumper and a ground wire to the frame what ould be going on here i need help pleaseshould it do more then 325 on both on hi and also on dial a watt help please
