Hey All,
I have an Astatic 575 M6 mic I bought a few years back and never really used it much. I am thinking about putting it back into service. Just out of curiosity, do any of you have one of these and have opinions on them overall? Also, any guidance on the setup, volume and tone sliders? How do they sound?

I run the 575-M6 on a TS-5010 in my mobile. On AM I adjust the tone to about half way and run the volume at 50% open. On SSB I normaly set the tone all the way down and run the volume at 30% open. Keep in mind I have the windows up and the a/c on most of time.
I always get excellent audio reports and 1 of the best mic's I ever owned.. |
