i have a 2970 orange face and at times the recieve will fade real low and to get it back i have to keep bumping the mic key. sometimes it will do it after i talk and sometimes it will just fade out by it self. also i notice a couple times when i turne it on i would have no recieve or transmit but when i keyed the mic the litte tx in the corner would light briefly. if i leave the radio on you will start hearing it trying to get the recieve when that happens if i key up the mic recieve and transmit comes back. |
