I'm running a Galaxy DX 979 in the dumptruck, when i turn on the talkback, before i even turn up the volume of it. when i key the mic, no matter how far away from the ext. speaker, i get a squeal..What could be causing this?? I'm also running a telex RK56 mic. |

Try moving the speaker as far away from the radio as possible.
If this does not work sounds like too much modulation coming out of the radio.Turn the mic gain back.

I found the problem, a Rat shack speaker!!! Lol, installed a workman commercial speaker, and squeal is gone!!! |

I have that with my Galaxy 959, turned down the mike gain and no more girly sqeal!
