Any TECH'S know if they make a remote faceplate for the 2950dx? With today's vehicle's getting smaller , it would be nice to have the radio in the trunk or under the seat and the faceplate mounted in or on the dash. I know that it would require very long control cable's and most likely be very expensive but the vehicle's made today are not that radio friendly as far as room to mount them. |

I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra to have a removable faceplate on the 2950. I say that because I will be getting one. CEF#1021

Midland makes or made a 40 channel CB radio with remote-head capability. The display looks really nice on that one. I have no idea if Copper carries it, or if it is discontinued. One of the guys that knows a lot about CB radios might be more help. And, I agree with you that cars are no longer 2-way radio installation friendly. They aren't very people friendly anymore either for that matter. Even the trucks are getting that way. Your radio 'Mythbuster' since 1998
