I've got a Kenworth T800 Dump Truck, the roof is fiberglass and the remainder of the cab is aluminum. I was wondering if i need to run a seperate ground wire from my mirror mount bracket to a metal ground or will just being grounded through the mirror arms and aluminum be sufficient?? I'm planning on running a Wilson 2000 with 18 feet of coax. Tommy~852~CEF 750

852, Run a Ground Wire DIRECTLY from the Antenna \ mirror mount to the Tractor Frame. Remember you ALWAYS want a SINGLE POINT GROUND for ALL Radio / Meter / Antenna (equipment). Lon~Tech808 N9CEF CEF#808 Radio Enthusiast!
