I have a Galaxy 2527 I can turn down to 1/2 watt with a 25 watts swing. I have a cobra 2000 I can turn down also to 1/2 watt with a 10 watt swing. I have a texas star 667V and a Palomar 300A tube amp. Any thoughts on which radio I should run with what amp ? I suppose the 2527 with so much swing will get the most out of each amp, but I'm not entirely sure !!!! Thanks, Jim

Operating the Palomar 300A - No more than 10 watts input at the HIGH POWER SETTING. No More than 100 watts input at the LOW POWER SETTING. Both radios are compatible.
Operating the Texas Star 667V - 25 watt swings is a bit to much input for this 1 driving 4 amp. You only need to drive the first transistor with the radio. The first transistor takes care of the other 4. Your 10 watt swing Cobra should get the max output out of the 667V.
