The old school sweet 16 requires 100 watts input for max output. The Texas Star V-Mod will drive the Sweet 16 nicely. The General Lee is a bit much to powerful for the V-Mod or any other 100 watt amp. You could try to keep the radio watts down by reducing mic gain and lowering deadkey. Or you could find a nice 20-25 watt single final radio. That's one of the issues with the dual final export radios.
