I think the turbo tune is made up to be more than it will ever be. For an example. I had bought a galaxy 99 3 weeks back and it was totally stock. I sent it to a motorola engineer and he said its doing 20 watts. This is a calibrated meter by a motorola engineer. This is about as calibrated as it gets. Weather it is accurate or not means nothing and is not the point and I will explain it in the story later. Then I sent it to eei and they do there famous turbotune and after the order got messed up I finally get it back and send it to the motorola engineer which by the way is an excellent friend of mine and we have been for about 20 years. He says that the only thing that has been done to this radio is the modulation limiter has been clipped and the vr-pot that adjusts the little meter on the front was turned up to max and the lights in it dim now.And it is putting out over 100% modulation 125% to be exact and that is overmodulation and thats distortion. Anything over 100% is distortion. He said its now doing 21 watts and it sounds terrible and it looks like hell on the scope and its putting out spurious emmissions. So its totally junk. I am sorry eei but when you mess up a mans radio that was bout with his hard earned money that means that eei isnt here for the money FOLKS! THERE HERE TO MESS UP YOUR RADIO!!! MY 10 YEAR OLD BROTHER COULD DO A BETTER JOB! And dont give me the crap that he dosent have the education or the qualifaction. Because he has has his job at motorola for almost 20 years. He has 2 masters degrees and a phd. I think its eei here who is unqualified. EEI you should be ashamed of your self. No wonder you are going under. AND THE FORUM ORGANIZATION SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AS WELL! Tell me this forum people, do you want to advertise a place of busniess that has false advertisment? ALL OF YOU SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED OF YOUR SELF!!!!!!!

Funny thing....The IP info their webmaster claims belongs to you doesn't even come close to what we have on you. Very interesting.

I wish you had asked me before you sent out your radio...it's been established for quite some time the TT is not what it's chalked up to be.
I have posted on that forum quite a bit only to help those who need it. I hate to see people get ripped, sorry you had that experience.
Maybe if you can order the Galaxy service manual which includes schematic, your friend can get your radio back to normal and do correct power and audio increases. |

And I had to stretch that story saying i knew the guy for 20 plus years when i am not even 20 yet. But I have know this guy for all my life and he is very close to me. |
