Hope you can help I got a RCI 2950. It has the orange display. When you turn the radio on you hear static and then a pop out of the speaker. It pops maybe 1\2 second after it comes on. It also pops loud when keying the mic especially when you use a d104 to it.It does transmit and receive.One person said it seem to be a little low on audio. Thanks Wayne |

I want to add this to my post. I just got the radio used and I am sure the man has tried to tune it himself.That may be the problem but I don`t know what to do to help with this problem. Thanks Wayne |

The radio is working.It just has the popping sound when you turn it on and when you key the mic. I did not see anything in the mods that would help Thanks Wayen |

sounds like it could be a problem in the audio section. Unfortunately, I cant help any more than that. Tech565 Net and Asst. Net controller CVC#38 Ham#243
