hello everyone I have a cobra 148 gtl. I have a squealing problem . I have grounded every thing possible. my swr is 1.0 and I have tried condenser mics and dynamic mics. my dead key is 2 watts and my swing is also 20 watts on AM. I also have a 8' stainless whip. My cb also has an internal little will pre amp. Many Thanks in advance Flying High and Flying Proud!!!!!!!! CEF# 1028

you're not using one of those 4 pin to 5 pin mic adapters, are you? try going inside the radio & backing the AMC down a bit. see how low the swing watts go before the squeal stops, if you lose a few watts, nobody will ever notice. |
